Liquid-foaming agents

Dec. 11, 2013
Liquid-foaming agents

New grades of Excelite liquid-foaming agents for extruded vinyl construction applications help reduce density and total systems cost.

The new grades address specific requirements for trim, panels, partitions, profiles, and decking in building and construction extrusion applications.

The agents can be metered directly at the extruder feed throat for in-line production flexibility to reduce product changeover time and increase productivity. Its liquid-dispersion properties promote even distribution of the active foaming agents to create a fine and consistent cell structure that lets users achieve densities of 0.45 gm/m³ or less while maintaining surface finish quality and physical properties.
