Sept. 29, 2015
Three new machines offer a variety of features and benefits to address challenging packaging automation issues.

Graphic Packaging International will showcase its latest packaging and machinery solutions at this year’s Pack Expo (booth #C-2031), including three new machines with a variety of features and benefits to address the most challenging packaging automation issues.

One of these machines is a simplified feed system for the new Quikflex 300, a small-footprint, continuous-motion paperboard packaging system designed for the beverage industry. Designed to run a wide variety of containers (bottles, cans, and PET) and pack sizes (from 2-packs to 12-packs), the Quikflex 300 packaging system offers several features and benefits to enhance packaging operations.

Two of the company's consumer products specialty machinery solutions will also be on display: the Random Servo Rotary Placer and the Water Resistant/Wash Down Reciprocating Placer. The Random Servo Rotary machine, which offers accurate tipping and placement of objects of virtually any dimension and shape, will demonstrate an affixing application. The Water Resistant/Wash Down Reciprocating Placer is ideal for automating food packaging applications and will demonstrate picking and placing GPI's PowerTray at Pack Expo.

In addition to the machinery capabilities on display, the company will also feature innovative packaging solutions and concepts in its Packaging Gallery, alongside recent design work and product commercializations.
