A mount chosen for a display, whether it’s a touchscreen or a 40-in. display, can have a range of options to make it easier to use. To the left are some variations of mounts for the same display.
• Tilt mount: lets the display tilt forward and backward. It can be outfitted with a counterbalancing spring to offset a heavy display to make it relatively effortless for staff to adjust the tilt angle. Display positioning or adjusting can be done manually -- no tools are needed.
• Tilt and swivel mount: Displays with this mount can be easily rotated up to 360° swiveled, and tilted. Precision joints hold the mount in place and prevent drift.
• Tilt, swivel, and swing mount: Provides constant-torque and user-friendly tilt, swivel, and swing-out adjustments. The arm withstands touch forces, vibration, and heavy loading. Built-in wire covers protect the wires and cabling and make the arm easy to clean. In addition, they eliminate the time-consuming process of threading wire from the receptacle, up through the arm, and to the monitor or touchscreen.
