"Student" athletes at Stanford University were given a list of courses such as Beginning Improvising and Social Dances in North America III, that most precocious fourth graders could probably pass, according to a story in a San Francisco paper. School officials say the courses were supposed to match the schedule most athletes have, i.e., they can only take courses that meet between 9:15 am and 1;15 pm, otherwise, they'd miss practice. But more than 200 other courses that fell in that time slot seemed to have missed the cut. Go Cardinals!
