Pack Expo 2023 finds itself at the intersection of supply chain, robotics and artificial intelligence.
This year’s trade event, which runs from Sept. 11-13 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will provide the packaging and material handling industry with an array of new technology incorporated into existing systems. Show officials said more than 2,000 exhibitors are expected on the show floor.
“We will surpass previous Pack Expo Las Vegas shows this year with more exhibitors and features offered to attendees than ever before. This reflects the growth in our industry as well as the need for our attendees to find new solutions, expand their knowledge, and build their network,” says Jim Pittas, president and CEO of PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies which produces the annual show, in a press release. “A thriving industry allows for great opportunities as well as challenges—and we’ll be addressing critical issues such as sustainability, workforce, and automation to name a few. It will all come together making Pack Expo Las Vegas a world-class, must-attend event.”
Under the theme of “Expect Innovation,” Pack Expo 2023 will focus on showcasing new systems and strategies for the packaging industry and providing educational sessions to elevate those strategies to action items.
Among those sessions, Pack Expo will offer show-floor educational stages. The Innovation Stage, Processing Innovation Stage, Industry Speaks Stage and Sustainability Stage will feature an array of educational seminars and best practice presentations.
At The Forum, attendees will interact to discuss industry trends, including digitalization, cybersecurity, sustainability, automation, and integration of cobots into manufacturing. The 45-minute sessions with a presentation before breaking off into group discussions.
