Digital Twin, Hold the Sugar

April 20, 2023
At Hannover Messe, Altair exemplified the benefits of digital twin technology by creating a digital twin of a coffee machine.

Altair helped create a digital twin of a coffee machine with the goal of reducing energy consumption, optimizing the thermal management of the machine and reducing time to market. As displayed at Hannover Messe, the digital twin helped the company identify the components that required optimization for thermal management.

We reduced the energy consumption of the machine by 25% and the time to market by 30% just with the help of this digital twin,” says Christoph Donker, director EMEA marketing for Altair.
