Stainless-Steel Pressure Sensors Handle up to 6000 psi

Feb. 26, 2015

The P8211, P8271, and P8281 series of pressure sensors are designed for measurements in gas, vapor, liquid, and dust. Developed by Minco, the sensors can be set to measure gauge or absolute pressures in environments with pressures ranging from 15 to 6000 psi. They produce a 4- to 20-mA analog output and require a supply between 12 and 30 VDC. Accuracy is 0.15% or 0.50% for P8211, while long-term stability for the sensors is 0.15% URL/year.

The sensors utilize a piezoresistive pressure-measuring cell isolated from the environment with a stainless-steel diaphragm. The sensors come with a variety of threaded and flange mounting options and hazardous area certifications. The P8271 and P8281 also feature field programmability, local display options, and a HART communication option.
