Epicor Introduces AI and BI Capabilities with its Grow Portfolio

May 21, 2024
The industry-specific enterprise software provider presented its latest offering at the ongoing Epicor Insights 2024 user conference in Nashville. This new portfolio integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence (BI) capabilities on a data platform specifically designed for the make, move and sell industries.

One of the themes at this year’s event is Drive to AI, and Epicor brought their show model Visa Cash App RB Formula One vehicle to drive home the point.

In a statement at the Epicor Insights 2024 conference in Nashville, Vaibhav Vohra, Epicors chief product and technology officer, emphasized the central role of AI in addressing crucial business issues and leveraging data. “Our new Epicor Grow portfolio puts workers at the core of the intelligence ecosystem,” he said, “providing deep AI integration tailored to real-world industry workflows.”

The company says its vision is to transform traditional ERP systems into proactive tools that engage workers dynamically within their work environments. The Epicor Grow portfolio fosters this vision by offering industry-specific AI solutions, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and drive value across supply chain companies, according to solutions provider.

One of the core components of the Epicor Grow portfolio is Epicor Prism, a generative AI service that assists users in accessing timely insights within the context of their work processes. For instance, users can streamline business processes, access production insights and automate supplier communications with the help of its task-specific agents.

Grow’s AI features are designed to enhance the ERP experience, including predictive analytics for inventory management, automated sales order creation from email inquiries, personalized product suggestions based on order history, predictive maintenance recommendations, and easy access to product and support resources.

The portfolio also includes the company’s Inventory Forecasting, FP&A capabilities and Epicor Grow BI, a user-friendly tool for data transformation and visualization. Epicor has expanded its data center availability for Epicor Grow BI in AWS U.K., catering to international organizations.

The Grow data platform serves as a centralized hub for enterprise data management, offering a no-code platform that enables users to streamline data-related tasks, saving time and resources while ensuring data accuracy.
