Wireless Transmitter Measures Data, Monitors Devices

Feb. 5, 2015

Smartphones and tablets are capable of many things, and now, with the UWBT Series of OMEGA Bluetooth wireless transmitters, they can be data-logging and monitoring devices. Thermocouple, RTD, relative humidity, and pH can be measured using different sensor inputs and transmitting the data via Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet. Available for free on Android or iOS in nine languages, the OMEGA UWBT app allows users to read real-time data from multiple transmitters in a digital, gauge, or graph format. Users can select and change sampling times that can be recorded on the transmitter and sent to a Bluetooth-capable device.

The transmitters have software and a USB connection to communicate with computers. The USB also allows AA rechargeable batteries to be charged or replaced.

For more information go to the OMEGA website, www.omega.com, or call customer service at 1-800-622-2378; One Omega Drive, P.O. Box 4047, Stamford, Connecticut 06907
