Flow switch

Oct. 25, 2007
The Model 2600 flow switch operates in a twomode design: setpoint and bypass.

The device increases or decreases liquid flow at the switch’s calibrated setpoint. A magnet-equipped shuttle displaced at the calibrated setpoint actuates the hermetically sealed reed switch in a removable bonnet assembly. The bypass mode can operate at high flow but maintains very-low-pressure drop. The switch, constructed of PVC, stainless steel, and ceramic, operates to 140°F and to 150-psig pressure. Other features include in-line 2-in. slip ports, slip or FNPT adapters, and 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0-gpm setpoints on decreasing flow.
