Cure-indicating adhesive - Dymax Corp.

Jan. 17, 2011
The adhesive laminates a range of plastics and bonds plastics to select non-plastic substrates.

3225-T-SC light-curing adhesive is for rapid bonding, laminating, and sealing of plastics including PMMA, PC, PVC, ABS, PA, PU, SAN, TPU, and aluminum. It also bonds plastics to glass, stainless steel, and brass substrates. It is bright blue when uncured and clear when cured, so automated vision systems can confirm uncured adhesive placement and confirm full cure. The adhesive cures with less than 4 sec exposure to 385-nm light at 200 mW/cm2 or less than 3 sec under UVA light.
