EZ-TorQ II torque testers verify and calibrate small hand torque and non-impacting torque power tools. The 4.5-lb, 7.25-in. x 4.33-in. x 2-in. units have built-in transducers and six-digit displays and are powered by lithium-ion batterites. Go/No-Go LEDs illuminate when high or low tolerance settings are reached or if the reading is out of tolerance.
The tester's Microsoft Windows-based Mountz EZ-TorQ II Interface Program can operate in track or peak mode and conduct tool tests, data logging, and sensor calibration. The software handles ozf-in., lbf-in, lbf-ft, cN-m, N-m, kgf-m, or kgf-cm measurements. The unit stores up to 150 data points. Users can also upload readings to a PC via USB or view results in real time, including a running torque vs. time graph, through an RS-232 connection.
The 10i model handles torques between 1 and 10 lbf-in., the 50i works between 5 and 50 lbf-in., the 100i reads torques between 10 and 100 lbf-in., and the 150i works between 15 and 150 lbf-in. All models have accuracies of ±0.5% of readings from 20% to 100% of their range and accuracies of ±1% of readings from 10% to 20% of the range. Each model includes a 1/4-in. female hex-square-drive adapter and a spring run-down adapter for testing power tools. Additional adapters, a charger, and data connections are also included.
