Yellow ceramic-reflector glaze - Morgan Technical Ceramics

Oct. 4, 2010
The glaze boosts laser output and life.

GSY yellow glaze for alumina-based ceramic reflectors filters out wavelengths up to 450 nm in laser pumping cavities to lower laser temperature and boost output by up to 9%. The glaze seals reflectors against the ingress of cooling fluids that may alter the refractive index, introduce impurities, and reduce reflectance and operating efficiency. The glaze also comes in a clear version.
