The SCPOE Series of dual-input/dual-output battery charge controllers are designed for backup power and remote-power applications.

The SCPOE Series of dual-input/dual-output battery charge controllers are designed for backup power and remote-power applications. SCPOE can charge lead-acid batteries from a 5-A solar-panel input and/or Power over Ethernet (PoE) input. The units feature two outputs: A 24-W PoE output uses a high-efficiency dc/dc converter to provide 12, 18, 24, or 48-Vdc PoE and the secondary wire terminal output on the back is essentially the battery voltage.

The controllers offer protection against overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit, overvoltage, and overcurrent. The units, rated for –30 to 60°C, are suitable for year-round outdoor operation in a weatherproof enclosure.
