New Products: Flow-Control Cartridges

July 30, 2009
When used with either a remote-fixed or variable orifice, two screw-in flow-control cartridges provide pressure-compensated flow to a priority port with excess flow diverted to bypass.

When used with either a remote-fixed or variable orifice, two screw-in flow-control cartridges provide pressure-compensated flow to a priority port with excess flow diverted to bypass. Since the flow to the priority port remains constant regardless of downstream load pressure, the bypass flow may be used to operate additional functions.

The SFP25686 cartridge is rated for 33-gpm inlet flows and cavity size is SFP18-4. The SFP25688 version is rated for 50-gpm inlet flows and fits cavity size SFP24-4. Both cartridges operate at 3,000 psi. Valves are available as cartridges only or in standard bodies that incorporate a Source Motorized Flow Control.
