Lightweight aluminum spline shafts are treated with a proprietary low-friction TFE coating and mated with a graphite and PTFE-filled thermoplastic bushing. The bushing’s integral brass collar facilitates mounting without nut distortion.

Shaft straightness is 0.003 in./ft and typical radial and torsional clearance between the shaft and bushing is 0.002 to 0.003 in. An antibacklash assembly is available for applications requiring additional stiffness.
