New Product: Data Receptacles Immersion Rating

Feb. 21, 2008
The SR4310 receptacles are IP66 (splashproof), IP67 (immersion), and IP67-EMI (immersion, EMI-reduction) rated and offer protection in wash-down or out- door applications.

The system’s tough outer shell prevents contamination by dust and water. The panel-mountable devices combine overtighten protection and a gasket for sealing. The receptacles feature “molded-in” threaded inserts for tamper-evident installation, and a detent mechanism that both increases token retention and gives users tactile confirmation when an inserted token is physically engaged. A “self-wiping” action cleans the contacts with the insertion and removal of each token. The receptacle has a minimum contact life of 50,000 insertions/removals.
