New Product: Encapsulated Thermostat Handles Wet Work

April 10, 2008
The all-plastic, sealed housing of the T60 encapsulated thermostat eliminates corrosion and prevents water damage.

The automatic reset thermostat has a factory-calibrated fixed-bimetal disc mounted adjacent to the monitored surface to provide rapid response to temperature changes. The disc is designed to open or close on rise at the desired setpoint. The T60 adapts to 516 or 3/8-in. tubing with or without a clip. A clip can be provided to hold the sensing element firmly against the surface. The thermostat’s snap-action SPST contacts are rated to 16 A at 250 Vac S (9 A at 12 Vdc) and may be factory calibrated to temperatures between –20 to 100°C (–4 to 212°F).
