Thrust Washers For Universal Joints

Thrust washers of glass-filled nylon/ silicone prevent metalto-metal contact in automotive universal joints.

The injection-molded washers, accurate to ±0.001 in., locate between the bearing caps and yoke. They operate over a temperature range of 40 to 300°F.
