Die-Casting Cleaner

June 7, 2006
Wheelabrator Rotary Mesh Tables clean smaller die castings off-line.

Castings load onto a 20-in.-wide manganese wire-mesh table and rotate through the blast on a 48-in. pass height, exposing parts to top and bottom blast wheels. Four direct-drive blast wheels, each with 12 blades, ensure full exposure of parts to blast media such as steel shot, steel cut wire, and zinc cut wire.

Features include dust collectors, after filters, rotary valves, variable-speed wheel motors, and PLCs.
