New Product: Integrated motion control

Nov. 8, 2007
The MDrive14Plus combines a NEMA-14 brushless 1.8° motor, driver, and intelligent controller with encoder into an enclosure 1.9 × 1.4 × 2 in.

Communications with the controller is via RS-422/485 or optional CANopen. The controller includes up to eight 5-to-24-V general-purpose I/O, a 10-bit analog input, 0-to-5-MHz stepclock rate, and 20 microstep resolutions up to 51,200 steps/rev. Input voltage ranges from 12-to-48 Vdc. Oversized capacitors minimize power line surges on the input power feed. Operating temperature range spans –40 to 85°C.
