New Product: Flexible Etch Circuits

July 10, 2008
High-density, flexible etch circuits fill the gap between round wiring and printed-circuit boards for medical and aerospace applications.

The circuits are enclosed in polyimide, which protects the wiring and connectors better than soldermasks. They can be designed as double layer, multilayer, multilayer with no plated through-holes, rigid flex, and Flex-Coils, and can incorporate sensors or Thermofoil flexible headers. The circuits withstand millions of flexing cycles without breaking, reducing maintenance and downtime.
