New Products: Plug-in PLC With Analog Input

Aug. 21, 2008
The Solves-It! analog plug-in programmable logic controllers (PLC) are targeted for small-system control and monitoring where speed, pressure, or other analog processes are involved.

Just like its digital counterpart, the analog PLC programs in ladder logic with function block using the EZ Ladder Lite software.

The controllers accept a 0 to 10-Vdc differential input, and support a total of six digital I/O channels. Two of the six are fixed as outputs and the other four are dual purpose and can be used as either inputs or outputs as necessary. One channel can be used as a high-speed counter input. Two potentiometers, accessible through the housing, provide external setpoint adjustment for both analog and digital functions. Another model has two programmable momentary pushbutton switches, a real-time clock with battery backup, and a fourdigit numeric display.
