FireGL workstation graphics accelerators have been selected by HP for their xw4100 workstations.

The 256-Mbyte FireGL X2-256t joins the entry-level FireGL T2-128 and the midrange FireGL X1-128 in delivering robust 3D performance for OpenGL and DirectX 9 applications at a fraction of the cost of competing products. The FireGL X2-256t features 256 Mbytes of DDR memory, dual DVI-I output, and a visualizing unit with eight parallel pixel pipelines and four geometry engines.
