New VersaMotion ac servomotors and amplifiers are a family of costeffective motion controllers that can be combined with VersaMax Micro for low-end position control. VersaMotion can also be used as a stand-alone single-axis position controller for simple indexing and electronic gear-follower applications. Power ratings range from 100 W to 3 kW and continuous torque range is from 2.7 to 169 lb-in. In addition, motor speed ratings are to 5,000 rpm for most models. According to the company, the range of torque and motor power lets users optimize performance, size, and cost in most applications.
