Torque-Controlling Hinges

Feb. 3, 2005
High-quality Hexatorq hinges are corrosion-resistant steel and plastic-resin assemblies available in six standard torque ranges and different mounting configurations.

The highly durable hinges need no lubrication, can go 30,000 cycles or more without failure, are unaffected by wear, and hold their position throughout the full range of motion with no springback. A hex configuration allows for molding in without brackets. Typical applications include notebook computers, access panels, cabinets, enclosures, medical/laboratory and office equipment, covers, and equipment guards.
