The wireless transmitter transmits readings back to the host computer where the data is analyzed in real time. For added security, the readings are logged into the transmitter's memory. The recorder/transmitter can be started, stopped, and configured remotely by computer. Data can be retrieved by plugging the device into a COM port and transmitter software does the rest.
