Temperature Controller

Aug. 24, 2006
The Series RMT controller for runnerless molding applications has two easy-to-use operator interfaces, four LED displays, and discrete indicators for heat output, alarm, degree F/C indicators, manual, and closed-loop mode.

The microprocessor-based, dual-zone CE-compliant controller doubles the zone count per module. Additional features include Type-J thermocouple acceptance, bumpless auto/manual transfer, a CompuStep bake-out feature that prevents moisture at startup, builtin loop break for open heater, reversed or shortened thermocouple, and preset alarms at 30°F. The controller has open-thermocouple-break protection with jumper-selectable shutdown or average power output. A SafeChange "hot-swap" feature allows safe removal and replacement of the module.
