CAM For High-Speed Machining

June 7, 2006
SurfCAM Velocity II uses the company's special RapidRough technology, a single-step roughing through prefinishing operation which reduces programming and machining time in cores, cavities, and complex multisurface parts.

The technology includes a toolpath generator that controls the tool's engagement with the material to dynamically manage tool load and allow the use of aggressive machining parameters.
