Capacitive Touchscreens

March 3, 2005
ClearTek II Profile capacitive touchscreens and MicroTouch Software comprise a system that includes a new design and driver enhancements.

The screen incorporates scratch-resistant material and is said to provide robust performance in harsh environments. A proprietary coating offers a balance between light transmission and antiglare properties, resulting in more-vibrant optical characteristics and 91% light transmission. A modular set of software, driver, and configuration components lets users customize applications and accommodate popular operating systems. Features include defining active touch-zone regions on the screens, sophisticated multiple-monitor support, and configuration flexibility.
