DC power supplies

July 7, 2005
The 787 Series of dc power supplies come in a metal-clad housing that offers a shockproof, industrial strength, and compact DIN-rail-mount design.

The units are available in single or three-phase versions with input voltages of 90 to 264 or 325 to 550 Vac, output voltages of 12 or 24 Vdc, current ratings of 1.3, 2, 2.5, 4, 8, 10, or 20 A, and power ratings up to 480 W. The high-efficiency supplies offer overvoltage, short-circuit, and surge protection, as well as inrushcurrent limiting via NTC resistor for operational reliability. Features include LED indication of output voltage, adjustable output voltage via a potentiometer to compensate for voltage drop, and an analog interface for compiling output measurements. Multi Connection System connectors with Cage Clamp connection technology provide vibrationproof, corrosion/temperaturecycling resistant, and maintenance-free wiring. Color-coded/keyed for error-free installation, the supplies are pluggable for quick wiring.
