Silicone tubing and reinforced hose are available in many specialized grades, making it suitable for applications such as medical devices, pharmaceutical product transfer, beverage and food service, and chemical or biological fluid handling.

Silicone withstands temperatures from 100 to 400°; is odorless, tasteless, and inert; manufactured from nontoxic ingredients that meet USP Class VI, NSF-51, and FDA standards; and is sterilizable and reusable. Silicone tubing and hose are soft and flexible with a smooth surface to resist sticking, encrustation, and bacteria growth. Products are available in several forms including reinforced or unreinforced, platinum or peroxide cured, and medical or nonmedical grades. Tubing sizes range from 0.012 to 0.75-in. ID, reinforced hose for higher pressures from 0.12 to 1.0-in. ID. Custom colors, sizes, lengths, and assemblies are available, as well as reinforced hose for suction applications.
