High-Torque Stepper Motor

The SilverPak 23CE is a high-torque step motor, microstepping driver, controller, and optical encoder in one unit.

It is available in body lengths of 3.41, 3.85, and 4.78-in, and has holding torque up to 294 oz-in. The unit has output current up to 3-amps, operates from 12-to-40 vdc, and reaches speeds to 16.7 MHz. Fully programmable features include stand-alone operation, programmable ramps and speeds, software-selectable hold and move currents, up to 256x microstepping resolution, and four user-configurable digital I/Os. The built-in encoder tracks up to 100,000 cycle/sec., 32-to-1250-CPR, 5,000 pps (max), 2-channel quadrature TTL squarewave outputs, and optional index.
