Antiblock Additive For Thin Olefin Films

Sept. 15, 2005
Ampacet 102765 is said to increase the blocking efficiency of thin-gauge olefin films by 47% compared to standard antiblock additives.

And it is said to reduce haze (i.e., increase film clarity) by about 40%. The additive is geared toward high-clarity, flexible packaging made from polymers, including linear lowdensity polyethylene (LLDPE), metallocene LLDPE, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer used in food-bag sealant layers, shrink wrap, and dry-cleaner garment bags.
