Power Transistor Sockets

Feb. 3, 2005
Low-profile TO-3 power transistor sockets eliminate the need for insulated bushings and simplify installation of Jedec-to-3 MPM power transistors.

The sockets feature a collector strip terminal with 6 to 20 formed threads at each end of the socket for easy mounting, nylon tops to accommodate 0.030, 0.045, and 0.090-in. chassis thicknesses, and electroplated spring brass contacts that accept 0.040 and 0.060-in. pins.
