    PARTsolutions improves its Intelligent Parts Management technology

    to combine geometric search and compare with other search methods including keyword, date, versions, topicality, ERP master data, part obsolescence, and model scan. The geometric similarity search can be used with PARTsolutions supplier-catalog parts and in-house CAD parts. A graphical-comparison function identifies differences. Enterprises can thereby identify required commercial, standard, and proprietary parts, and identify and eliminate redundant parts.
