Superbright Touch Panels

April 1, 2005
High-bright touch display modules are now available for PanelView Plus operator interfaces and VersaView CE industrial computer families.

The panels have a NEMA-4X outdoor rating and are designed for easy reading in bright locations. The displays are three times brighter than standard touch displays for use in water/wastewater, entertainment, and petrochemical industries. Displays are backlight-rated at 50,000 hr and have a light-intensity rating of 1,100 NITS, considerably brighter than that of indoor-rated displays (300 NITS). There is an optional stainless-steel solar visor that fits over the bezel. The solar visor helps shade the display when ambient temperatures are extreme (reaching 40°C/104°F).
