CD An Intro To Multiphysics Modeling

Aug. 18, 2005
An interactive learning aid, The Electronics Kit CD, introduces viewers to the benefits and straightforward implementation of multiphysics modeling and simulation in the electronics industry using Femlab.

Femlab lets users model multiple physics at one time, such as thermal and magnetic phenomena in the wiring on a solidstate processor.

The CD includes an " Introduction to FEMLAB" with actual model files users can open and explore using the included Multiphysics Viewer. The free CD includes eight Femlab models such as discrete transistors, inductors, and memory arrays. Documentation for each discusses the theoretical underpinnings of the driving phenomenon along with a file users can load into the included Multiphysics Viewer. Femlab lets users explore the underlying equations and physics as well as use flexible post processing to visualize results.
