The D40Z safety interlock switch delivers Category 4 safety protection. Up to 15 D40Z switches may be combined with a programmable G9SP safety controller for use in a variety of high-risk multidoor access applications. The switch mounts from either side of the device with M4 screws and features a two-color diagnostic LED display.

The D40Z safety interlock switch has an operating distance of 15 mm, which reduces the possibility of nuisance trips due to misalignment or guard door vibration in harsh environments. A nonmagnetic actuator ensures that the unit will not attract troublesome metal shavings.
