The sports tourer is powered by a supercharged 2.7-liter V6 with a six-speed manual transmission. An independent, air-tuned suspension lets the driver adjust the ride height a total of 4 in. Door openings are longer and the rear profile is higher to give better accessibility to the rear seats, which can be folded down to open up the cargo area. The interior is illuminated by LEDs.
The HCD8 rides on 19-in. alloy wheels wrapped with Michelin sport tires. The exterior is washed in tri-colored yellow paint finished with polished-nickel trim. The interior is outfitted with leather and features wood flooring in the cargo area as well as a wood and aluminum accented steering wheel.
