Ideal Industries Inc.

Ideal Industries Inc., Sycamore, Ill., offers circuit analyzers that apply a 15-A load to various circuits for testing voltage drop without affecting connected equipment. The SureTest family of analyzers helps identify common problems such as intermittent connections, incorrect wiring, high-resistance ground connections, and checks GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) receptacles, line voltages, and voltage drops. An industrial model checks circuits where variable-speed drives and switching power supplies can disrupt line voltages supplying electronic equipment. In addition, the industrial model measures true rms voltage, wattage, and power factor, as well as distortion to the 31st harmonic.
