New Product: Power-Measurement Module for Three Phase

March 6, 2008
The six-channel 750-493 threephase power-measurement module integrates power-supply-network monitoring with I/O system connectivity.

The unit is compatible with 16 different fieldbus networks, including Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus, and DeviceNet, as well as the company’s digital, analog, and special-function modules. The module has three channels dedicated to voltage input, three channels dedicated to current input, and comes in 1 and 5-A variations to support standard current transformer signal levels. The unit measures voltage, current, energy consumption, and power factor (cosφ) to calculate effective power and track energy consumption rates. Four LEDs indicate the status of undervoltage conditions for each of the three phases, as well as module status.
