Markforged Offers its FX10 Industrial 3D Printer for Enhanced Factory Operations
Markforged’s FX10 industrial 3D printer comes as a response to the increasing demand for adaptability in modern manufacturing environments. Its multifunctional capabilities are designed to streamline production processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Key features of the printer include:
- A single device with multifunctional capabilities such as drilling, tapping and milling
- Space and resources are streamlined on the factory floor, as there is no need for multiple tools
- An intuitive interface and user-friendly design.
The FX10 offers large build volume with a heated chamber and print bed as well as a patented Continuous Fiber Reinforcement (CFR) process to print composite parts that Markforged reports is strong enough to replace machined metal.
It is made for accurate, high-speed printing (about twice as fast as the company’s X7 model) with a laser micrometer that scans parts during printing for quality assurance and machine calibration. The modular print system has easily swappable system components for additional print modes and future material compatibility.
