Bosch Rexroth’s new MP1000R AMR has a 1,000 kg payload capacity and can operate without external infrastructure.

Among the products Bosch Rexroth demonstrated at MD&M West was the  MP1000R AMR. Using the company’s ROKIT Locator Software, the AMR can navigate autonomously in dynamic environments without additional infrastructure.

The MP1000R uses a large-capacity 39Ah lithium battery that provides power for the bot for a typical eight-hour work shift via autonomous opportunity charging. Its zero turning radius make it ideal for operating in tight spaces or down to aisle widths of 1,400 mm (55 in.). It also has a fully loaded moving speed of 1.5 m/s.

Bosch Rexroth worked with AMR provider Geek+ to develop the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology for the MP1000R. The CE- and ETL-certified AMR features hybrid navigation with SLAM + QR Code, 360-deg. obstacle detection, anti-collision bumpers and emergency stop buttons in the front and rear.
