Friction Hinges (sometime called constant torque or positioning hinges) are a largely unknown technology, but in the right application can provide an elegant and inexpensive solution for holding mechanical components in place while still allowing easy adjustment. Think laptop screen positioning – it’s one of Reell’s largest applications.
