Shoplift provides a semimanual lift for shops.

The Shop Lift from A&H Engineering & Manufacturing, Cerritos, Calif. (www.ahtooling.com), can carry 600-lb loads safely and then be pushed to a machine, storage rack, or near a truck for unloading. The device weighs only 700 lb, and is driven by a 12-V, electric-powered hydraulic pump with built-in battery and charger. At 61 × 28 × 72 in., the unit fits through most standard doorways. It also features 18-in.-long steel forks adjustable from 8 to 18-in. wide and with tilting to 15°. Shop Lift can elevate a load 51 in. from the floor and has a reach of 28 in. in forward extension. Molded polyurethane or cast-steel 8-in. wheels ensure quiet operation.
