Linear-displacement sensor — The G-Type position and linear-displacement measurement sensor with direct analog output has an LVDT as the measuring element. Frictionless operation eliminates wear. Encased in a hardened stainless-steel body, the sensor’s internal electronics system offers a choice of four measuring ranges: 2, 5, 10, or 20 mm. The G-Type sensor features direct analog output in three signals: in voltage (0 to 10 V or ±10 V) or current (4 to 20 mA). The output is conducted by a 2‑m PU cable that contains a foil screen layer and is resistant to scuffs and scratches. The sensor incorporates an AX probe with tight tolerances and a cartridge-type bearing with chrome-and-carbon balls, ensuring nonrepeat linear measurements over a long product life. Dual-axis, CAN-based slope sensors — PLUS+1-compliant CSS1000 slope sensors feature microelectromechanical system (MEMS) technology. The CAN 2.0 B-compliant device cancels out transverse machine motion, providing a high-precision, fast-responding, and stable slope signal. The dual-axis slope sensor also features a MEMS gyroscope to measure acceleration around the axis. The MEMS and advanced signal processing enable accurate output. Photoelectric sensor with wear-free programming — qTeach is a wear-free procedure for programming O500 Series photoelectric sensors. Sensors with qTeach have no mechanical buttons or moving parts that can wear out. Three models are available: diffuse sensors with background suppression, SmartReflect reflector-free light barriers, and retroreflective sensors for reflective surfaces. O500 sensors with qTeach require no mechanical adjustment during setup. The process begins with a light touch to the housing using any ferromagnetic tool, such as a screwdriver. Users touch the housing once to enter the procedure, align the desired sensing condition, and then touch it again to program it. A blue LED provides clear optical feedback during the procedure, blinking to indicate when users activate teach mode and when the teach funcwtion is completed. To prevent inadvertent reprogramming in the field, qTeach locks out after 5 min of operation. qTeach eliminates damage to sensor components caused by repeated adjustments.
