Okuma has introduced its new V760EX vertical lathe, updating its V60R model. The new product has a larger work envelope and allows for an additional 110 mm in workpiece height and 150 mm maximum turning diameter. The vertical lathe provides stable, high-precision cutting in a small footprint and is a suitable platform for machining thin and odd-shaped work pieces. Additionally, it’s ideal for the oil and gas and aerospace industries. It has powerful cutting capabilities and good ergonomics. The V760EX is a highly rigid structure due to the box way system and rock solid base and column. It includes easy access to the chuck and a front-skirt operation panel for up-close jobs.
