Bisco MF-1 seating material and Bisco L3 foam is designed for passenger trains. The seating material is a lightweight, flame-retardant silicone that is easily fabricated into cushions. It meets various flame, smoke, and toxicity (FST) requirements, reduces hot spots, and improves rider comfort.

The L3 open-cell foams meet performance requirements for rail-car flooring systems. The silicone foams provide maximum vibration isolation under all conditions. The foam’s mechanical-loss factor contributes to the overall damping of the flooring system, dissipating energy more effectively than alternative materials.
