Polypropylene Tubing

July 19, 2012
Prolite polypropylene tubing offers chemical resistance that approaches that of fluoropolymer.

Prolite polypropylene tubing offers chemical resistance that approaches that of fluoropolymer. The tubing features low surface friction, excellent corrosion resistance, high dielectric strength, low moisture absorption, and its lightweight. Semi-rigid Prolite is manufactured from a compound that is NSF-61 certified for drinking-water applications and is less costly than fluoropolymer tubing.

The tubing comes in sizes ranging from ¼ through 1¼-in. OD. Custom options include nonstock sizes, color additives, and thermoforming. It is best joined with push-to-connect fittings, but may also be joined by welding.
